Privacy Policy

We take your privacy very seriously, as you may provide information to us. This is our Privacy Policy to inform you what and how we collect certain information, how we intend on using it, and options that you may have. Please further note, the current state of our operation is in product development; therefore, information collected will only be used for developmental and marketing research purposes. All User Contents and their use as defined in our Terms and Conditions will hold, including integration of posts created by pre-launch users for the launch state product, which is considered as product development.

Information that we collect

1. When you provide us the information directly or give us permission to collect it. In order for you to use our products, we collect certain information about you, which you provide voluntarily. This may include your full name, email address, date of birth and/or age group, location, profile photo, and any other information that you may give us, some are required to create an account. Third-party entities may facilitate the collection of certain information, such as email addresses. Two potential third-party services we may or currently partnering with are MailChimp and Kickofflabs.
2. Usage data (technical information) when you use our products or 21Squared integrated third party products. We collect various technical data, including session cookies in browsers, persistent cookies in browsers, application (“app”) usage data, certain device/configuration data (i.e. type of browser, version, OS), and other log data. Technical data collection heavily depends on the device that you are using or the software settings, including permission settings available on iOS devices. Some usage data that we collect may include your behavior (i.e. pictures that you like, links that you may click) and how other users may be interacting with you (i.e. followers, who like your postings). During the developmental stage, we will collect technical data at our discretion, but we will not release any private or personally identifiable information publicly or any third-party entities without your consent.

Intended use of your information

The information that we collect are to be used for the following intended purposes:

1. To improve our products that we offer to you and the community. From the information you provide voluntarily and from usage data collection of our products, we can continue to improve the usability and user experience.
2. We want to offer you the meaningful experience on 21Squared, which may include computational analysis of your information to offer you optimized contents and suggested products and users that you may be interested in following.
3. Aggregate data analysis of the users for non-personally identifiable information. This is mainly used to analyze usage demographics and geographic locations. For example, we may want to know which state in the United States have the most users.
4. Provide effective communication with you. We want to keep you informed with the newest changes and updates to our products, newsletters, marketing materials, special offers from our retail partners, and other information that you may find interesting. Some information may be delivered via email, such as newsletters, which may be opted out at any time.
5. Limitation to storage and use of information. We take your information with respect. However, our usage and storage of information may not reside within your country, including data centers that we choose to use and other regions we do business in.

Your options about your information

In order to provide you with more transparent usage of 21Squared, we offer you to:

1. Change personal information on your profile edit page, except date of birth and username.
2. Opt in or out of newsletters for communication.
3. Other ways of controlling your privacy outside of 21Squared settings. This may include web browser history, cookie settings, or device configuration, which may include ability to change location sharing.

Intended ways of sharing information we receive

1. During the development stage of 21Squared products, the “Pre-Launch User Sign Up”/”Beta-Tester Sign Up” forms will collect information about you so that we can use it internally to analyze what user groups we may want to test certain features of the product. For example, certain features may be tailored for different age groups or genders as an aggregate. Information collected from the “Sign Up Forms” will not be publicly shared.
2. When you upload a picture and create a post on 21Squared, this post will be publicly shared, which can be external to 21Squared application, such as our website, Facebook page or search engine indexing. The post will not carry any sensitive profile information that is personally identifiable, except the profile picture and the username. Other information relating to the product you are posting about will contain certain information, including size (i.e. Dress Size 2 or XL), which will be displayed as part of the public post. Your body measurements, unless you provide us with expressive consent in the form of profile configuration settings, will be hidden from anyone except yourself.
3. When you promote your 21Squared posting to your own social media networks, such as Facebook and Twitter, we consider it to be your consent to post publicly at your discretion.
4. As mentioned previously, non-personally identifiable aggregate information may be used to share with those we conduct business with, including our partners, investors, public relations campaign, and news releases. This may include basic information about our products, such as how many female users to male users, peak usage hours, and alike.
5. If we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety, rights, or property of the public, any person, or 21Squared; or to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, we may share the information with the most appropriate agencies.
6. We may engage in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, or similar transaction or proceeding that involves the transfer of the information described in this Policy.

Children’s Information Policy

21Squared and all of its products are not directed to children under 18 years of age. We take this very seriously and if you suspect your child under the age of 18 has created an account, hence provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Updates to the privacy policy

We may change this policy at any time and all updates will be reflected on this Privacy Policy page. By continuing to use 21Squared in any form after those updates are in effect, you agree to the revised policy. If the changes are considered significant by us or required by law to obtain your consent, we may provide more prominent notice for the changes.
